This morning, Mayor Thomas Broderick, Jr. welcomed the participants of the 6th AAMP cohort group at City Hall for their group orientation meeting.
AAMP is our City of Anderson workforce readiness training program that includes a variety of employer partners and support organizations.
AAMP participants go through a rigorous 4-week training program and are paid $10.00 per hour for a 40 hour week. At the end of the program, local manufacturing employers interview the candidates for job openings in their respective locations.
