The purpose for having current phone numbers is to find customers MUCH faster when they call into Anderson Municipal Light & Power's Trouble Department.  If we have your number on record, when you call in Dispatchers see the call plotted on their outage map within seconds!  Once we know where the problem is, crews can dispatched to fix the issue.  This is especially important during large outage events.
