Interagency Information Sharing
The mission of interagency information sharing is to bring together schools, police, prosecution, probation, corrections, courts, and human services to form a process and method of information sharing, cooperation, and coordination.
This will lead to informed decisions to improve public policy strategies for the prevention, intervention, and control of community issues as they relate to at-risk or habitual offending juveniles, which in turn will enhance the educational process.
Goal
The goal of interagency information sharing is to coordinate a focused and comprehensive effort to reduce the incidents of juvenile crime, address the needs of at-risk youth, and to provide a safer Madison County by all segments of the criminal justice, educational, community, and human service organizations.
