CATS Fares
The present fare structure for CATS' fixed route and demand responsive service has been in effect since July 1, 2005. CATS requests that all patrons use the correct change for fare payment.

Monthly pass cards are only valid for fixed route service. Student passes require a valid student ID. VIP passes also require a valid ID.

Fixed Routes
Currently, six fixed routes offer service at 50 minute head ways, leaving the terminal on the hour before noon (6 a.m. - noon) and 10 minutes after the hour in the afternoon (1:10 p.m. - 6:10 p.m.). Saturday service is always on the hour (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.).

Nifty Lift
Nifty Lifts 
Nifty Lift serves the needs of customers who are unable to use the CATS regular fixed route bus system due to having a handicap, or having a disability. Customers must also meet the criteria established by the U.S. Department of Transportation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.

Lift-equipped vehicles are available to meet the transportation needs of the mobility limited.  Patrons are requested to provide notice by 7 p.m. prior to the day of requested service. However, if scheduling permits, requests for service during the same day will be honored.

Users must have an approved application on file PRIOR to making appointments with Nifty Lift.

Miller Trailways
Muncie to Indianapolis Route
The City of Anderson and Miller trailways are now offering a new bus route from Muncie to Indianapolis with stops in Muncie, Anderson, Pendleton, Fortville, and Indianapolis, two times a day. Call 502-368-5644 or check out Miller Trailways and view schedules, locations, and buy tickets.
Flagship Bus
Flagship Express Bus Service (Route #7)
Flagship Express began July 2012 and, after a trial period, was extended through December 2013, with help from a federal JARC grant to benefit welfare and low-income persons seeking to obtain and maintain employment. This route provides non-stop service from the downtown terminal to Flagship Enterprise Industrial Park. The return trip from the Flagship stops at Ricker's, Redbud Estates and Skyline Chili, then returns to the downtown terminal. The Flagship Express operates from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

 To see the landmarks or see individual routes:

  1. Click the ‘Layers’ icon, the Layers legend will appear.
  2. In the 2nd line labeled CATS, click the small triangle, left of the check box and all Routes will appear with a check in the box next to them. 
  3. To turn on and off routes, simply click the checks to turn on and off.
  4. If you would like to see the landmarks, check the CATS Landmarks button to turn them on and off.
  5. To see more clearly, you may use the mouse to zoom in closer.
