Laboratory Section

The Anderson Police Department operates a Forensic Lab under Criminal Investigations. The Forensic Lab performs daily analysis of evidence as well as responding to major crime scenes.

Steve has been with the department since 1982 and has extensive experience in the area of narcotic analysis.

Det. Lee has been a police officer since 1990 and in the forensic unit since 1997. Det. Lee is a latent fingerprint examiner and trained in crime scene evidence collection, photography, videography, digital imaging, and bloodstain patterns. Det. Lee also operates the Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (Lie Detector).

Det. Richardson has been a police officer since 1995 and in the forensic unit since 2004. Det. Richardson is Forensic Video Analyst and is trained in crime scene evidence collection, photography, videography and digital imaging.
